The minute I put the Epoch Max in my hand I was in awe. The balance of the knife is perfect. The quality and sharpness of the blade is unsurpassed. It's a dance that Woody performes magnificently. The leather sheath is of top quality too and is a perfect home for the knife. To top everything off with a touch of class is a certificate of authenticity along with Woody's contact info. If you are a collector or someone who wants a fineknife to carry, I couldn't recommend this knife enough.

Love the shape and balance of this knife. I was really looking for something made regionally so I was really excited to find Woody brand was local to me. I finally ordered one. It is a good looking knife with a fairly wide handle that butts into your palm nicely. It took a little getting used to as I use a long thin blade when shucking oysters. I live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia where oysters are abundant. It is a pleasure to use this. It took a little getting used to. Now it is my go to. I use probably 150 oysters a month.
