Every now and then a knife comes off the Woody bench that doesn’t quite fit a category.
That’s the case with this one.

Woody calls it the “Twitch.”

At just under nine inches overall, it’s a slim little blade that seems to find its way into all sorts of work — part desk knife, part letter opener, part manicure knife, and depending on the day, maybe even a small personal protective tool.

The name came about... well, how it got its name is a story for another time… but once you hold it in your hand, the name somehow makes sense.

This particular One & Only Twitch features richly figured Bird’s Eye Maple from Pennsylvania, full of natural wormholes and character that give the handle a remarkable organic presence. Paired with a finely finished AEB-L stainless steel blade, the result is a knife that’s elegant, lively, and just a little bit mischievous.

The Twitch comes with a top-grain leather sleeve by Hyatt Leatherworks of Salem, South Carolina — a simple protective cover made for desk, drawer, or pocket carry (no belt loop).
