“Woody” designed and produced the first EPOCH “Max” Field Knife three years ago.  The  7 1/2” “Max” quickly became a sensation with hundreds of users around the world. The “Max” has been subjected to extreme conditions and hard use without missing a beat. The S35VN blade with our Chisel Point is truly splendid in edge retention and overall serviceability.

This “One and Only” was put away from the very first batch of Maxs made.  “Batch One" is laser etched on the spine underside back of the choil.  An extremely limited number were made in vibrant Blue Fin Curly Maple so this is a rare offering indeed.  The Blue Fin Curly Maple has been permanently retired.  Closing out the 2025 “One and Onlys /Twelve Days series “Woody” decided to release something extremely rare and desirable in the form of this Blue Christmas Series One “Max”.   It will be accompanied by a Crazy Horse top grain leather sheath by Mister Lonnie Hyatt, Salem, South Carolina in the heart of God’s Country.
