Sometimes steel remembers.

Years after walking the Bloody Run battlefield at Gettysburg, Frank was working a piece of Alabama Damascus when something familiar began to emerge in the steel.

There, running through the pattern of the blade, were the unmistakable shapes of Round Top and Little Round Top.

He hadn’t planned it. He couldn’t have planned it. But once he saw them, he couldn’t unsee them.

That knife became The Bloody Run — an 8-inch Woody handmade boot-style knife inspired by one of the defining battlefields of the Civil War and carrying a remarkable little piece of its story in the steel itself.

The 8-inch Alabama Damascus blade is paired with Python Micarta, Old Glory Red, White & Blue liners, brass hardware and a patriotic mosaic pin.
