Over the course of a very long knife making career “Woody” has made many, many hundreds of his now famous “PK” - Personal Knife.  THE “PK” has been universally well received and they are in use all over the civilized world and some parts of Texas. The “PK” was originally designed by famous Taylors, South Carolina knife maker Richard Bridwell. Richard , “Woody’s” several times removed distant cousin, agreed to lend the pattern to “Woody” and “Woody” took it, tweaked it a bit and ran with it.  At 7 1/4” this special edition “PK” is a splendid example of a well balanced and highly capable working phenomenon.

After getting to know the the convoluted romantic flow noticed in the intricacies of 416 layers of high carbon tool steel and nickel in this particular Alabama Damascus blade “ Woody” realized that a certain snakiness was hidden there - a “spook” with definite Ophidian overtones.  “Woody” then selected a piece of Python Linen Micarta as appropriate scales for this one off piece.  Blue composition liners were artfully added for texture, accent and an added measure of resiliency.  Looks so cool , too.
