This is a one of a kind  “Max” style Field Knife completed by “Woody” during the particularly wet spring of 2016. Working out of his Travelers Rest, South Carolina shop Woody put the finishing touches on this one while babysitting a new borne calf which was temporarily housed in the Woody Shop. Who knows why? Guess you could say he kind of "milked" this one! 7-1/8 inches overall, decked out with  muted burlap Micarta and 416 layer random patterned Alabama Damascus. Looking closely you can make out a clear image of a big, burley Mexican guy on a painted pony riding in the intricate layers of the intertwined layers of carbon steel and nickel.  Woody says, Trust me, he's there - kind of like clouds.
